Apex Steel, Inc. was incorporated in 1996 and has performed reinforcing steel placement, structural steel erection and tower crane services since that time. Over the years, Apex performed over $1 million dollars worth of Tower Crane erection/dismantle services in the Pacific Northwest and California. Tower Crane service was a supplement to the main divisions of Apex Steel – Reinforcing Steel and Structural Steel.

In 2008, recognizing an opportunity to provide customers with another choice in the Tower Crane market, Apex Tower Crane, Inc. was incorporated. Separating the companies not only served to mitigate risk but also created a company specifically focused on the Tower Crane and Hoist market.

With a skilled workforce experienced in the erection and dismantle of all brands of Tower Cranes, Apex Tower Crane, Inc. has successfully completed over fifty projects – all accident free.

	Virgina Mason, Seattle, WA Apex erected this Liebherr 550 Litronic on the Virginia Mason campus in Seattle. The crane was erected on a weekday while the hospital was operational, to support the current expansion.

	Highline Hospital, Burien, WA This Pecco SK 280 was erected during the weekday next to the operating birthing center. Overhead work was limited to protect the existing structures.

	199 Blaine St, Seattle, WA Apex erected BNBuilders 1st tower crane in Seattle on lake union to be used in the construction of a new office building.

	Port of Seattle, SeaTac, WA 4 Libeherr 630 Tower Cranes were erected by Apex. As the project evolved we re-configured the 4th crane JIB length using the 3rd tower crane and maximized the used of the mobile crane during the dismantle of TC #2.

	Nintendo, Redmond, WA Apex erected a Libeherr 316 Litronic for the parking garage construction along with a Libherr 550 Litronic and a Liebherr 390 EHC back to back on a Saturday/Sunday.

	McGuire Building, LVI Services A Peiner SK 415 was erected to 300’ free standing along side of the existing building that is being prepared for dismantle. The crane will be used for the building dismantle.

	Home Plate Center, SODO Builders A Potain 485 was erected on a pile cap footing during the week. All work is scheduled around Safeco stadium schedule.

	Children’s Hospital, Sellen Construction One Liebherr 630 Litronic was erected along with a Alimak 7100 dual car manlift. This work was done as children looked on from their rooms trying to find “Waldo”. See the segment from Komo 4 Eric’s Little Hero’s

	UW Hospital Expansion, Skanska A Liebherr 550 was erected for the expansion of the hospital. The dismantle was performed at over a 195’ distance with weight picks in excess of 30,000 lbs.
